Description

This house was originally built by Amos Hall around 1773. The Hall family and their descendants lived in the home until Rev. Avery Gleason purchased it from Simeon Hall in 1904. In 1911 it was purchased by David and Brunette Carr. In 1923 Sydney Hannant and wife, Sophia, bought the property from David Carr. It remained in the Hannant family until it was willed to the Raynham Historical Society in 1996.
