Description
Portrait of Josiah Dean in the 1770s. Josiah Dean was a prominent early settler of Raynham. He purchased the Leonard iron forge in 1767 and established a nail works and iron rolling mill on the site. Leonard Iron Forge is also known as the Taunton Iron Works.
