Title
Ted Packard's Store, Halifax, Massachusetts.
Subject
Packard's Store (Halifax, Mass.)
Description
The Packard Brothers founded a store on the land directly opposite the Town Hall. Provisions, grain for farmers, the Post Office and weighing scales made up the major part of their business. There is a coach to the right with someone inside and a man and young boy on the front porch. Pope's Tavern can be seen to the far right. The coach may have been dropping a guest off at the Tavern as travelers were known to spend the night there.
